Phoenix 2:
What
a funny name for a stamp store!... a little history. Rose Marie and Dan
Cowan were the originators of the store. They came up with the name
after cleaning up the yard at
the original Harvard location and finding unbroken China cups and
saucers that had been through a fire and buried in the back yard - hence
China Phoenix - resurrected from the ashes. Now the "2" came
when they went out of business and I bought the inventory and took over
the lease. I wanted to distinguish the new store from the old, but loved
the name. Unfortunately, it caused a little confusion with people
expecting two (or more) locations!
Now, is that clear as mud ?
